Keep what you’ve got - by Laura Serra

I began this one with pencils only. The scanner “forgot” half of the hatching so I continued via pen tablet and finished the drawing digitally.

Materials: ink, pencils, wacom pen tablet, Ian Brown/The Stone Roses
with the song “Keep what you’ve got”.

my scanner is crap. ok this isn’t new. But it still kills the lighter pencil strokes that I so accurately draw. Why? Hell why? All I want is that this thing recognizes all the hatching I’m drawing. Dear scanner, if for YOU it’s not important, because there are already so many of them ok. But for ME it IS important so please scan them nonethelsess!!

Maybe I should talk more friendly with my scanner.
Maybe it’s just a response of defiance.

but maybe I should just buy a new one. -.-

This is an vector illustration I made 2 years ago. Just for fun.
2 weeks before I moved to Berlin and 2 weeks before I decided that I would stay in Berlin and not come back.. I never regretted spontaneous decisions.

This topic being “out of work” is not a current one.
At least not yet. And I do not certainly know if..
but it will be decided on wednesday. My boss wants me to stay, I want to stay (at least for 1-2 months after the end of my contract in november), but the jobcenter doesn’t want me to stay.

so.. 2 days left till I know if I will have to make more illustrations about being out of work. -.-
